Cocktail Slushies FAQs

How do I use your mix

Take a look at this video about how to get started with our machines and mix: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qNZfPflSFJs

How is your slush mix packaged?

Our frozen cocktail blends are contained in 5 litre cans. We package 4 cans per box

Do you sell slushie machines?

No, we just rent them out or offer them free-on-loan. If you’d like to buy we can introduce you to our suppliers

Do you supply cups & straws?

Not directly, but we recommend a company called Party Plastics. We recommend their 8oz cup, seen here: https://www.partyplastics.co.uk/shop/products.aspx?s=paper

They also sell thick straws which work well. Enter PPA-Straws-SM-PK into their search box. https://www.partyplastics.co.uk/shop/products.aspx?s=paper

Can you offer bespoke flavours for our event?

We have done this in the past and we will always do our best to help you with this. Please get in touch and we’d love to hear about your specific requirements.

Do I add ice to the machine?

No. Do not do this as it will lead to damage to the machine! The liquid mixture in each chamber is mixed around and comes in to contact with a frozen cylinder. This slowly creates the ice and brings the mixture to the optimum consistency

What are the machine specifications?

Coming soon

How long does the mix take to freeze down?

Please allow between 35 and 50 minutes for the mix to freeze.

Factors affecting time it will take to bring machine down to temperature:

  • Temperature of the mixture when it is poured into the machine. The colder the mix is to start with – the quicker it will to freeze.

  • External temperature. Not much you can do about this, although you should always allow at least 15cm of space all around the machine so that the refrigeration components can run at their optimum.

What is the storage and shelf-life of your blends?

Our blends have a shelf life of 60 days. Our mix is made with fresh ingredients, so we recommend storing it chilled.

To maximise the shelf life, the mix should be stored chilled. Mix stored outside of a refrigerated area may go off quicker than anticipated.

Chilled mixture will freeze more quickly in the machine, which will help during busy periods.

We encourage the freezing of our blends to help prevent waste. Please allow sufficient time for the mix to defrost for when you next need it.

Where can I buy your blends?

From us! We manufacture our blends and sell direct to bars, festivals, and events.

How will you deliver?

Within London, we use a direct chilled courier to deliver. Outside of London, we use direct couriers as far as possible and occasionally we use overnight couriers.

Cocktail Blends FAQs

Questions relating to our cocktail blends. No slush machine required.

What size are the bottles you use?

Depending on the product, use 750ml glass bottles, or 1litre plastic bottles (which we are currently working on phasing out of use).

We package 6 bottles to a case.

We’re not using plastic at our event, can you package your blends any other way?

We’re trying to reduce our use of plastic. If you have special requirements at your event, let us know and we’ll see what we can do!

What is the minimum order quantity?

Usually 1 case of 6 bottles. If you need less, please get in touch and we’ll do our best to help you.

How many drinks will I get from 1 bottle of your blend?

Most of our recipes call for 50ml of our blends. You will therefore achieve 15 serves per 750ml bottle (or 20 per 1 litre), and 90 drinks per case (6 bottles).

Can you supply cups & straws for our event?

Not directly, but we recommend a company called Party Plastics.

Can you offer bespoke flavours for our event?

Yes, we do that often and we are committed to helping you as far as possible. Having said that, please check with us first and the more notice you can offer, the more chance we can make this happen!

What is the shelf-life?

Our blends have a shelf life of 30 days. Our mix is made with fresh ingredients, so we recommend storing it chilled.

Do I need to keep your mix in the fridge?

Yes, as far as possible and certainly overnight. Our mix will stay fresher and last longer if you do.

Can I use a speed pourer with your bottles?

In glass bottles yes, although you should retain our bottle cap so you can seal overnight in the fridge. If using our plastic bottles, you will need to decant into a store ‘n’ pour.

Can I freeze your mix?

Yes, and we encourage this, but only if you are receiving our mix in plastic. Freezing anything glass is a bad idea! Please allow sufficient time to defrost for when you next need the mix.

Where can I buy your blends?

From us! We prepare our blends in house and sell direct.

How will you deliver?

Within London, we use a direct chilled courier to deliver. Outside of London, we use direct couriers as far as possible and occasionally we use overnight couriers.

How do you accept payment?

We will send you an invoice which you can pay directly using a secure online payment portal (provided by Stripe), or you can pay via BACS.
