Celebrating summer: 5 standout moments

This summer has been our biggest yet.

And while this barely scratches the surface, our Blends have been poured in countless bars, restaurants, and events, some we can’t even name for legal reasons, we still want to celebrate a few of our favourite moments.

Our Blends have endless uses, so it’s tricky to know exactly how they were used. But our best estimates suggest that this summer they helped create the equivalent of:

  • 220,000 Frozen Margaritas

  • 120,000 Frozen Strawberry Daiquiris

  • 80,000 Frozen Piña Coladas

  • 80,000 Frozen and 80,000 shaken Pornstar Martinis

All in all, that’s over a million cocktails. Not bad for a summer’s work.

Here are five highlights that made this summer truly unforgettable:

Kraken x Bloodstock

In August we joined forces with Kraken to pour a bespoke black slush at Bloodstock, the UK’s biggest independent heavy metal festival. Over 20,000 metalheads got stuck in, dark, bold, and perfectly at home with the festival’s energy. The tricky bit? Keeping it jet black when frozen. Most frozen drinks fade to grey under festival lights, which just wouldn’t do. Our technical team nailed it, fine-tuning the recipe until the colour stayed deep, striking, and unapologetically black.

Dishoom Mela event

We were thrilled to help Dishoom celebrate their annual staff party. Working alongside Stranger & Sons (Oak & Still), we delivered frozen treats that went down a storm. A few happy faces and frozen cocktails later, it was safe to say the party was a hit.

Big-name headline shows

From Beyoncé to 50 Cent, Oasis to Kendrick Lamar, we were behind the frozen cocktails keeping stadium crowds refreshed. There’s nothing like seeing thousands of people dancing in the sun with a frozen in hand: summer energy doesn’t get much better than that.

Peppermint Events: including Mighty Hoopla & All Points East

Festival season wouldn’t be complete without these two heavy hitters. Our cocktails were there, keeping spirits high (and drinks icy) while everyone danced and soaked up the sun.

Shaken success with Pizza Express

Not everything was frozen this summer. We worked with Pizza Express to craft some seriously tasty shaken cocktails, including a standout Strawberry Daiquiri. Great drinks, great company, and another summer ticked off the list.

It’s been a summer of firsts, favourites, and moments we’ll never forget. And while this barely scratches the surface of all the places our Blends have been, one thing is clear: this summer was one for the books.
